The Other Type of Working Girl

having some fun with photo booth

Sometimes my job as a bookseller brings me to places where I have to look a little more professional than I'm used to, so I try to find a happy medium between my style and what is expected of me. Black is a really safe place for me when I have to be professional, whether that means a black dress or black slacks; black seems to be a great foundation to build a good conservative work look on. I then choose some cute heels that usually aren't black and I'm good to go.

I hope everyone is having a splendid lazy Sunday. Talk to you soon :-)
The Look Goes As Follows:
Silence + Noise jacket
street vendor sunglasses and readers
Laundry by Design dress via Lord & Taylor
Thrifted heels

I really like that you finished off this all-black ensemble with some beige kicks. That was an ever so good choice :)
