Everything That Glitters Isn't Gold

I really enjoy blogging and though I get super excited when I get a new comment or a new follower that isn't the main reason I blog. It's interesting to see the evolution of my stye and attempts at new things (though they may fail). Do you ever wonder how some bloggers do so well (i.e. have many followers and comments) whereas others, not so much? I guess it is representative of life, not everyone wins or rather there are degrees of success. This is just something that popped into my head while looking/reading some blogs this morning that get inundated with comments and others that are just as good but don't really get seen.

I totally get the point your getting across when it comes to blogging. I totally started mine as a way to vent out my feelings. . .it was a great way of self-expressing myself. hence all the bitchiness. haha. Just keep doing what you love and enjoy babe.

p.s. I want your briefcase.

Hi KimJ!

You're making me THINK!

Like the starving stylist, I too began my blog as a way to vent out my frustrations. It's my escape from the reality of my life ... Just keep the fire burning ... you never know where this will all take you!

PS Love the outfits!

I know what you mean about blogging. It has a lot to do with how you interact with bloggers too. And some are what a lot of fashion bloggers emulate to be so they get a lot of response from the community. It takes time to build readership too.

Love the sequin top! I am thinking of getting a sequin jacket but it might be too bold for me.. Not sure yet!

I so feel you on the whole blogger issue. It does make me wonder how some people have great followings while others don't. I don't trip about it though. It's just fun for me but I have to admit, I do feel a little validated when I get comments.

Anywho...tonight is the second time I have seen a Silence and Noise top that glitters...I want one. I love how you dressed it down! But the way, cool major. I can talk all day about "natural hair."

I hate when people think it's a political reason for my hair being in its natural state. The truth is, I just look better with big hair:)
